Who it's for

Built for operators running small to mid-sized fleets.

Mariner's Desk HQ is aimed at small to mid-sized fleet operators. If that's not quite your fleet, get in touch anyway — we'd still like to hear from you.

Status
In pilot. Not yet open to everyone.
Length
Six weeks, with a real decision at the end.
Cost
Free for the pilot. Pricing after the pilot isn't set yet, and we'll put a proposal in writing before anything is charged.

None. You can stop at any time and keep a full export of everything your company entered.

How it works

Five steps, from first conversation to a real decision.

  1. A first conversation.

We talk about what your office actually struggles with today — chasing certificates, tracking rest hours, knowing which vessel is ready to sail — and whether a pilot is a good fit.

  2. Your company is set up in HQ.

Vessels, your compliance requirements by rank, and your crew records go in. This is us doing the work, not an onboarding form you fill in alone.

  3. Crew link in, at their own pace.

Each seafarer gets an invite to link their own Mariner's Desk account with a joining code. Nobody is forced onto it, and their record stays theirs if they move on.

  4. Six real weeks.

You use it for actual compliance work, we watch closely, and your feedback goes straight into what gets built next — not into a backlog nobody looks at.

  5. A real decision, at six weeks.

Continue, with pricing discussed at that point, or stop. Either way, you keep a full export of everything your company put in.

Data and security

What's true today, stated plainly.

Each person's data is visible only to them until they link to your company. Your company can propose a change to a seafarer's certificate, but nothing on their record changes until they personally accept it — that's enforced at the database level, not just in the screens.

Being direct about where we areWe're an early-stage product. We haven't completed a formal certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 ourselves, and we haven't had a third-party penetration test. Our database and hosting run on Supabase, which is independently SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified — that covers the infrastructure underneath us, not our own application code. Before every company's pilot, we review both apps ourselves — the code and the real sign-up-to-compliance-check flow — and fix what we find. If your own due diligence needs more detail than this page or the documents below cover, ask us directly.
